Main Maintenance Notes for Liquid Cooled Load Bank

Time:2026-06-09
Liquid cooled load banks are key equipment for power testing and data centers. Standard daily maintenance is essential to ensure their stable operation, extend service life and prevent potential faults. The main maintenance precautions are as follows.

AC 30kW Liquid Cooled Load Bank

First, manage the cooling liquid properly. Regularly inspect the liquid level, concentration and cleanliness. Top up with the same type of coolant when the level is below the standard, and never mix coolants of different brands or specifications. Replace all coolant immediately if it turns turbid or contains impurities. Check pipelines for leakage as well, and repair loose joints or damaged pipes in a timely manner to avoid short circuits and corrosion caused by liquid leakage.
Second, clean heat dissipation and filter components regularly. Dust and scale easily accumulate on filters and cooling coils. Dismantle and clean them every month, since blockage will reduce heat dissipation efficiency and cause overloading and overheating. Use neutral detergent during cleaning to prevent corrosion on metal parts, and make sure all components are firmly installed and well sealed after cleaning.
Third, inspect circuits and the main unit routinely. Check wires and terminals for aging, overheating and loosening before and after use, and fasten loose connectors. Monitor operating parameters such as temperature, pressure and indicator lights. Once abnormal alarms appear, cut off the power for inspection immediately and never operate the equipment with faults. Drain residual coolant completely if the load bank will be idle for a long time.
Fourth, keep proper storage and operating environment. Place the equipment in dry, ventilated and dust-free areas, far away from corrosive, flammable and explosive substances. Only professional staff are allowed to disassemble internal parts. It is also recommended to keep maintenance records for standardized management and long-term safe operation.
